Experienced Employment Lawyer

We are currently looking for an experienced fee earner to join our Employment Team based at our Sheffield Office.  The role would be suitable for either a Solicitor or someone who is CILEx qualified, who has sufficient experience to handle a wide range of contentious and non-contentious cases.  Applicants must have at least 4+ years PQE working in an employment environment, with some knowledge of all areas of Employment Law.    The Firm is a growing South Yorkshire Practice that boasts a traditional and supportive working environment.  With high levels of job satisfaction amongst staff, the role will allow you to develop your career.  The sky is the limit in terms of places this role could take you Tasks to include:
  • Providing practical advice on employment law issues which may include grievance, disciplinary, dismissal, redundancy, corporate re-structuring and TUPE
  • Advocacy, preparing and representing on employment tribunal matters
  • Providing the highest level of client care, advice and representation to our clients
  • Building relationships with internal and external parties
  • Ensuring that files are managed effectively and ensuring that set deadlines are met
  • Supervising and monitoring junior members of the team
The Role:
  • Picking up an existing caseload, you must be able to hit the ground running with a broad range of contentious and non-contentious cases from start to completion.

Experienced Agricultural Property Lawyer - Fee Share - Doncaster & Sheffield

We are currently looking for an experienced Agricultural Property Lawyer to join our Commercial Property Team based in our Doncaster office: The successful candidate must have at least 3 years experience of dealing with agricultural property matters. This position will be on a fee share basis and can be tailored to suit full time or part time candidates.

Experienced PI and Litigation Paralegal - Doncaster

We are currently looking for a PI and Litigation Paralegal with a view to offering a Training Contract.  The position is working within our Dispute Resolution Department based at our Railway Court Office in Doncaster.  It may be necessary to work at our additional offices in Doncaster and Sheffield when required. The ideal candidate must have a least two years relevant experience in litigation and be able to run their own caseload and produce their own work.  The caseload will cover Road Traffic Accidents, Personal Injury and EL matters.   The position is full time and salary is dependent on experience.

Experienced Conveyancing Paralegal - Doncaster & Sheffield

We are currently looking for experienced Conveyancing Paralegals to join our teams based in our Doncaster and Sheffield offices with a view to offering a Training Contract. The successful candidate must have at least 2 years relevant experience. The role will include the following:-
  • Responsible for managing sale and purchase files and take taking initial instructions from Clients and be able to prioritise workload.
  • Checking mortgage offers, searches and report back to clients.
  • Deal with enquiries raised by other solicitors, dealing with incoming and outgoing telephone calls in order to update or deal with queries and take initial instructions.
  • Dealing with administrative duties, preparation of all forms of contracts, leasehold reports and all other documents relating to a Conveyancing transaction.
  • Dealing with pre-completion matters, including preparation of completion statements and billing documentation.
  • Experience of using case management system and running volume of Residential Conveyancing files.
  • Good standard of computer literacy, keyboard skills, excellent telephone manner and good customer care skills
  • Any other tasks delegated by the Head of Department and the Practice Manager.

Experienced Personal Injury Legal Secretary - Doncaster

We are currently recruiting for a full time/part time Personal Injury Legal Secretary to assist in our Dispute Resolution Team at our Railway Court Office, Doncaster.  Two years minimum previous experience is required and must have experience of dealing with the Ministry of Justice Claims Portal. Tasks to include the following:
  • Supporting a team of Fee Earners within the Firm
  • Document production including audio typing and preparing reports
