What area of law do you specialise in?
I specialise in commercial law including property. However, as CEO, I now spend most of my time developing our business and making sure TB is a great place to work.
How many years have you worked in this field?
I have worked in commercial law since I was 21 years old, giving me more than 30 years experience. Didn’t realise I have clocked up so many miles!
What was the main reason you got into the law?
A happy accident! As the eldest of four daughters, my Mum decreed all her daughters would have a profession. So we have a family of three nurses and one lawyer. Started out wanting to be an accountant, but didn’t get the breaks. Then got my lucky opportunity to work and study to be a solicitor! Have never looked back...
What is the best part of working for Taylor Bracewell?
Being part of such a terrific team. We are a group of extraordinary lawyers doing our best for our clients. This starts with how we treat and look after each other at TB, and we are certainly the best on that score! Making TB a great place to work and play!
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Listening to very loud music and dancing as if no one is looking – even if they are!
