Contesting a Will

When someone dies, it can be a shock as to what they choose to do with their estate in their Will.

Sometimes, family members are cut out of a Will and this can result in a dispute about how the estate should be administered. It may be that you do not believe thay had the required mental capacity to make a Will, or were coerced into making the Will in teh terms they did.

It may be that the deceased didn't leave a Will and so the surviving relatives disagree with the intestacy rules and feel that they should receive something that legally they are not entitled to.

Our disputes team can advice you about whether you have claim against an estate.
