When someone dies, it can be a shock as to what they choose to do with their estate in their Will.
Sometimes, family members are cut out of a Will and this can result in a dispute about how the estate should be administered. It may be that you do not believe thay had the required mental capacity to make a Will, or were coerced into making the Will in teh terms they did.
It may be that the deceased didn't leave a Will and so the surviving relatives disagree with the intestacy rules and feel that they should receive something that legally they are not entitled to.
